Attendance

The Attendance sub-module is a critical component of the HR & Payroll system, designed to accurately track employee working hours, manage attendance records, and ensure compliance with company policies and labor laws. It helps streamline workforce management by automating the process of logging employee hours, tracking leave, and calculating overtime. Integrating with payroll processing, it ensures employees are compensated accurately based on their actual work hours.

This module primarily tracks employee check-in and check-out times. By calculating the total hours worked based on the assigned schedule, it determines whether an employee was on time or delayed.

Core Functionalities:

  1. Employee ID/Name Search: Allows HR personnel to search for employees using their unique ID or name, ensuring quick access to attendance records.
  2. Schedule Management: Displays assigned work schedules, including shifts, break times, and special duty hours.
  3. Date Selection: Users can select a specific date to view or update attendance records.
  4. Check-In & Check-Out Tracking: Employees can log their work hours by checking in and out via various input methods.

  • Generates absence reports to help managers monitor employee attendance trends.
  • Overtime Management

Compliance & Reporting

  • Ensures adherence to labor laws and company attendance policies.
  • Generates detailed attendance reports for audits and payroll processing.
  • Provides insights into workforce productivity and absenteeism trends.

Adding Attendance:

  • Click the Add button
  • Select an employee or staff
  • Add Schedule * (this field mandatory)
  • Fill in the required information, then save
