The template sub-section allows the creation of different templates that can be designed and used as per preference. It allows administrators to create reusable document formats for various operational needs. Templates enhance efficiency, ensure consistency, and save time by standardizing common documents used across departments.
What Are Templates?
Templates in WISPGate are pre-designed document structures that can be reused and populated with dynamic data. These templates are especially useful in automating customer communication, internal workflows, and service documentation.
You can create and manage templates for the following document types:
- Service Contract – Standard agreements between your organization and customers.
- Quote – Formal estimates for proposed services or products.
- Invoice – Billing templates for customer charges.
- Asset Order – Documents used when assigning or delivering equipment in your own network.
- Purchase Order – Internal requests for procurement of equipment or services.
- Organization – Templates related to company profiles or external partner documents.
How to Create a Template
Navigate to the Tools Module
From the WISPGate admin dashboard, go to the left-hand navigation panel and click on Tools.

- Click on “Template”
Inside the Tools section, select Template from the available sub-options. - Click the “Add Template” Button
This button allows you to initiate a new template creation.

Fill in the required information
Most importantly, Select the Module
Choose the specific document type (e.g., Invoice, Quote, Service Contract) that the template will be associated with.

Enter Required Information
- Template Name
- Enter description
- Enter other related information

Save the Template
Once completed, click Save to store the template for future use.
Designing/Formatting Templates
- From the list of Saved Templates
- Hover over to the <> to start designing/formatting the desired template

You will now be presented with a screen to allow you design the template

Things to keep in mind:
- The window on the left side is your design workspace.
- The window on the right side is your preview window, allowing you to see your design in real-time.
- The area marked in blue allows you to use direct HTML code for your design and formatting.
- Below, you can insert various types of data, including company information, customer details, invoice data, line items, and images.
- Click “Save” once you’re done.
